Titanium is an exceptional material for a number of things, including fasteners, and they host a number of positives including corrosion resistance and strength alongside being lightweight.

In regards to its physical properties, titanium is held in high regard due to its strength-to-weight ratio. The metal is strong and relatively ductile. It has a high melting point, which makes it useful in a number of applications that could involve high heats. It is however not magnetic and does not conduct electricity or heat well, and without proper cooling methods can often gall when being machined.

Where can Titanium’s attributes be used?

The strength and low weight of Titanium make it exceptionally unique, and some grades of Titanium can be anywhere from two to four times stronger than some grades of Stainless Steel. These features make Titanium ideal in some aerospace, medical and military applications.

They are also resistant to a number of solutions, and Titanium Fasteners can often be found in saltwater environments making them perfect for industries like salination, oil and naval. They are resistant to almost every chlorine or chloride solution, including chlorite, hypochlorite, chlorate, perchlorate and chlorine dioxide. If the chlorine is used with the absence of water, or as a gas, this can cause rapid corrosion.

Titanium Sheet

Titanium are principally used for chemical process area where strength, Corrosion resistance, lightweight and ability to withstand extremes of temperature. It is 40% lighter than steel but as strong as high-strength steel. Titanium is an enormously useful metal. Its unique properties mean it sees widespread usage in an array of critical applications. Many applications require complete non-magnetic tools to be used in order to avoid any magnetic disturbance

Tiaano offer Titanium sheet as per ASTM Standard Specification with Grade1, 2, 5 and 7 to suit applications that required a thin, bendable metal.

Tiaano also provide the Titanium sheet, wire, rod, seamless tube and expanded mesh with Mixed Metal Oxide coated or Platinum Plated as anode and cathodes for various application. Especially for Impressed Current Cathodic Protection, Electro Plating, Hard Chrome Plating, Water Ionization, Electro Chlorination, Chemical Production, electrolysis applications, Electrolytic Recovery, Electro – Chemical Sensing, Electro Winning refining of metals, Electro Galvanizing, , Regeneration of Chromic Acid, Electro – dialysis, Electrolytic production of Sodium hydro Chlorate and Equipments.
